I bought a buy it now item on ebay last week. I saw the same item on Amazon for a few cents difference. The item arrived from Amazon with a slip inside saying it was a gift. What would be the purpose of an ebay member doing that? With ebay/paypal fees, he had to lose a few dollars.
Flacka I am not an eBay buyer but 2 thoughts came to mind. At the bottom of many of the Amazon listings there is a blurb about getting the item for a "give away" promotion which probably means the person gets it for less $, sells it to you at full price and that is where their profit it. AM Some people have a store with ebay etsy or Amazon and one holds the inventory. Usually Amazon or etsy. Ebay is another way to build client base/sell things. You might have gotten that from their Amazon store. There are a couple ways to have an Amazon store too. There is software for bookkeeping between those sites too.
