I do not have air in my room. This has been an issue for quite a few years. Maintenance has come and go, but the problem has not been solved. I have fans, but what else can I buy to ensure to have a cool year (literally).
men52 I am assuming you have already brought this situation to the attention to administration and have stressed that previous attempts by maintenance have not been successful. Is your classroom the only one in the building that lacks ac? Are you in a climate where it is hot all school year or just for a couple months at the beginning and end?

justateacher1 Yes, I live in an area that is extremely hot until about November. I can not open the windows and can not adjust the air. My friend suggested everything you stated. flacka My room was always hotter and more humid than any other room so I finally bought a dehumidifier and it helped somewhat. My daughter is a dog walker and is out in the heat all day and she finds that the cooling rags make a real difference in how she feels.
