We run lunch time and after school clubs called Mindful
Chess. We take a unique approach to teaching both chess
and mindfulness to school children in Greater London.
From September we will be running weekly sessions at a
number of new schools and are hence looking for some more
passionate individuals to join our team.
For the role of a chess teacher you must have played more
than just the occasional game. If you play online, please
give us an idea of what your rating is, if you donít play
online then please give us a clear idea of what level
your chess is.
For the role of a mindfulness teacher, please let us know
about what training / experience you have with
mindfulness and working with children.
The sessions are generally 1 hour and take place either
between 12:30-1:30 or 3:40-4:40pm. For some of the
schools we run two sessions back to back for different
age groups. We pay £30 per hour session. We donít expect
teachers be available for a session everyday but we do
need people that can commit to the full school year
(September-July). Sessions are run only during term time
at each school's premises. The schools are spread across
Greater London, we would never expect a someone to travel
to a school that is further than they want to travel.
If interested or know someone that might be then please
get in touch or pass the details of this advert on.
Applicants will need to have a skype account as we will
be conducting initial interviews via skype.
Applicants please apply to firstname.lastname@example.org.
