High School Math Teacher

Tara Performing Arts High School is looking for a part-time math teacher for the 2022-2023 school year to teach one to four classes per day Monday through Friday in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, Precalculus and/or Calculus and to provide math help for all classes during the lunch periods on Monday and Wednesday. Exact times, grade levels and classes can be discussed according to the applicant’s experience and availability.

We are looking for someone who works well with high schoolers, who enjoys teaching math to a variety of different math levels and abilities, who has the capability to explain each mathematical process in more than one way, and can maintain a friendly but disciplined working atmosphere. Teachers are responsible for lesson preparation and presentation, student evaluation and written reports.

The hourly compensation rate is based on prior teaching experience. Please provide a cover letter, resume and references.
