Special Education Teacher – Long Term Substitute (anticipated)

Job Description

Glenbrook High Schools District 225 is seeking an anticipated full-time Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher for the third and fourth quarter of second semester (January 19, 2021 – June 4, 2021) of the 2020-2021 school year. Official dates will be determined and confirmed by January 4th and March 8th, respectively.

Vacancies are needed for Glenbrook North High School and Glenbrook South High School.

Candidates are required to hold, or be eligible for, Illinois State teacher license with the appropriate endorsements.

This position is not eligible for benefits.

Glenbrook South High School

This anticipated position at Glenbrook South High School delivers instruction to and provides case management for students who qualify for Special Education to assist them in their academic, functional, and social-emotional development. Ideal candidates have experience with the implementation of researched and evidenced-based strategies, understand the needs of a diverse student population, and case management. Must possess or be able to attain appropriate Illinois credentials for the position and have excellent human relations skills and demonstrated professionalism.
