Teachers Teaching On Call/Temporary Teacher Vacancy
The Chilliwack School District is seeking highly skilled and dynamic educators to join our Teachers Teaching on Call/Temporary Teacher pool. Our TTOCs and temporary teachers enjoy working in a vibrant and growing district where employment opportunities for teachers are expected to continue into the future.
We invite applications from generalists and specialists*–elementary, middle and secondary– who can demonstrate currency of practice, excellent interpersonal skills and work ethic, and a proven knowledge of the BC curriculum. (*French Immersion, Learning Assistance, Resource, secondary subject specialists etc.)
Preference will be given to candidates who have the ability to teach in a wide variety of settings and who are available full time.
Applications are accepted through the Make a Future website and must include:
• Cover letter
• Resume
• Latest teaching report (or final practicum)
• Proof of BC Teachers Regulation Branch certification and TQS certification
• Copies of university transcripts
• Names of two supervisor referees including most recent supervisor
Teacher candidates who will graduate no later than August 2019 are eligible to apply at this time. TQS and TRB documentation can be provided after graduation.

PLEASE NOTE –
Successful applicants relocating from within the province beyond 200 km will be eligible for the reimbursement of relocation expenses to a maximum of $1000.00.
Successful applicants relocating from outside the province of British Columbia will be eligible for the reimbursement of relocation expenses to a maximum of $2000.00.
