This is a list of simple sight-word activities.
Name:Sight-word at door (Played every time upon entering)
Objective: Identify sight-words quickly
Materials: sight-word flashcards for the day
Time: 1 to 2 minutes
a. Students line up in two lines to enter room.
b. Teacher flashes card to the kids at the front.
c. The kids who says it first gets to enter the room and the loser goes to the back of his or her line.
Follow-up: (optional) Cut flashcards for the day and the kids challenge each other in pairs for 5 minutes.
