#2426. Poetry Mad Libs

Activity Time: 20 - 25 minutes

Instruct students to create an original poem (about 10-15 lines) about any subject (writing prompts can be useful for stimulating thought). Instruct students to purposely leave out certain words - nouns, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, etc., labeling them accordingly. Have students gather in groups of 4 to share their Poetry Mad Libs (each student will facilitate his/her own Mad Lib). When all Mad Libs have been completetd, share with the class.
