Title: Listening Skills
Objective: To arouse student awareness that they are "always on".
Materials: Book TEACHING BY LESSON PLANNING CH 7
Presentation: make students aware of what the ear does to trasfer sound into words and discuss the scientific miracle of hearing. Then ask students to "hear" in the classroom and to realize they are alswys on by either visual or aural means.
Discuss the uses of listening... directions, instruction, time-place, etc.
