Materials Required: Rainbow Fish, see materials below
Activity Time: 40 minutes
Concepts Taught: Sharing, Caring for Others

Introduction: This plan can be utilized for a multitude of purposes. It can be used as a ice breaker activity, or in a social skills group.

Book Needed: " The Rainbow Fish".

Materials Needed: Can be done one of two ways:
Blue construction paper Cookies (cut out in shape of fish)
Popsicle sticks Frosting (white)
Glitter glue- blue, green, purple food coloring
Metallic oragami paper

Read Book- discuss how it feels when you share. Utilize sharing in the social skills group by forcing the children to share materials.

Construction Paper:
Cut out in shape of Rainbow fish, use glitter glue and oragami paper to decorate and glue fish on stick.

Cookies:
Same concept . Use colored frosting to decorate fish- have children share materials.
