Middle School Curriculum- Stereotypes, Respect and Race

Materials Needed: 7 item questionare

Ground Rules: We will discuss beliefs about race during this class. Some of these beliefs are
based on fact, while others are incorrect assumptions. The purpose of this activity is to examine
these beliefs as a group. You are entitled to your own opinions. It is not, however, appropriate to
make inflammatory remarks about other groups or peoples that might offend me or tohers here
today.
