Materials Required: Liquid water color (or food coloring), clear plastic candy molds, plastic medicine droppers
Concepts Taught: Creating secondary colors, develops pincer grasp

Set up a tray with three small cups of red, blue, and yellow liquid water color, a candy mold, and an medicine dropper for each color. Show the children how to fill up the droppers and empty them into the candy molds. Children will see how the colors mix together to create new colors. The candy molds come in many different designs so it can be coordinated with the classroom theme.
