Materials Required: Three one meter fabric for each group (Their will be 4 groups).
Activity Time: for 4 weeks

1- The students will see a movie about different kinds of clothes and some kinds of clothes and then the students will write and learn what are the benefits of the clothes?

After the students see the movie they will set in groups of three and they will write in the papers why we were clothes and different kinds of clothes.

Assessment:-
I will assess the students in this activity by:-
 See if their have any questions or points which they are confuse about it then when they will have no questions I will make sure that they understood the movie.
 For the students how cannot ask questions to the teacher because there are shy, I will look at all the students report about the movie, or I might ask each students to write what they understood about the movie, then I will explain it out of the class for the how don't quite understand the movie and want me to explain to her.
Thinking process:-
 Organizes and manages information.
 Integrates new information with exiting knowledge and experience.

2- Students will search in pairs about some pictures of any types of clothes and they will make a catalog for them.

In this activity the teacher will divide the class into two students and this by the students who seat behind each other.
Then the students will use the websites which the teacher will give them to search on it and get the information from it.
The students will search about any things related to the clothes history, pictures, or even clothes from other countries.
After they find the information they will make a catalog about the pictures of the clothes.
An extra mark will give to any groups who make a special catalog.

Assessment:-
 In the class I will walk around the students to make sure they understand the activity and they are working on it.
 I will assess this activity depends on how much information their gathered, so the more information the more grades.
 Part of the grade of this activity will be in but the resources in organize way (books, internet).
 An extra point will give for the group who bring information from more than 5 different sources or new sources like (encyclopedia or interviews).

3- How we clean clothes, the students will have a class in family education course and the teacher will teach them how they clean the clothes.

In this activity the students will make an experiment about we can clean our clothes.
The experiment is:
The materials need:-
Bring four dirty fabrics ( the students can dirt it by but chalk or color or but it in .
Soap.
Two small plastic pools for each group which contains one of it cool water , and the other one hot water.
The steps:-
But in one pool cool water only and put hot water only in the other pool (because each group have four students, each two students will be responsible for one of the two pools).
Then the two students will but one of the fabrics on the pool which they have, then they mix the fabric with the water.
Dry it , and write what they see
The next step is to put a little amount of soap in the other two pool which they didn't use it before.
Do the same thing which they did it before.
Dry the four fabrics, and compare the results. Then, write the results and include it in the group work file.

Assessment:-
 I will make sure the students understand the activity by ask them to ask the family education teacher any question they want to ask about the activity.
 I will assess this activity by look at the students and see who are working how didn't.
 The high grade will be give for the more active group.

 Combines information in new and unique ways.
4- Make a trip to the clothes factory.
 Request a trip day from the school administration.
 If it is possible, make an arrangement with the Dubai clothes factory.
 After the students go to the trip and while they are in the factory the teacher will ask them to write a few notes about what are they see in the factory.

Assessment:-
 First of all I will explain the activity for the students and their role in the trip.
 I will give grade for behaviors in the trip, and the good behavior group will get a full mark for behavior.
 I will give grades for the groups which make questions and ask it for the people in the factory.
 For those students who can't ask questions I will look at their report of the trip and I will give them the participation grade.

 Receive and understands ideas communicated through a variety of modes.
 Supports effective communication by seeking clarification and providing appropriate feedback.

5- Make a special day for the students and cooperating with family education teacher to make some simple clothes?
 Ask the family education teacher to give the students special class and if she agrees tell her to bring the equipment which the students will need in the class.
 Give the students the class, and then let each student to apply the lesson on a small fabric.
 Then the students will include those fabrics in their group project.

 I will assess this activity not by individual person but the whole group.

The students in the group are all participate with each other to make the simple clothes.
The students in the group try hard to make many fabrics and more creative ones.

6- The students will search about what are the materials which the tailors use it in make the clothes, and what are the materials which their mothers use in making the clothes.
The students can go to tailors and make an interview with them to know what kinds of materials they use in their work.
After that the students can write a report about that.
After all the students finish their interviews, they will make another interview with their mothers to get what kinds of materials they use them to make clothes of fix it.
An extra mark will give for any student who makes an interview with their Grande mothers and know the different between the materials which the mothers use them in these days and in the past.

 I will assess the students also by the group.
 The higher mark will be given for the group how bring interviews from each students. (The students in all groups don't have to bring an interview from each student).
 An extra mark will give for any student who makes an interview with their Grande mothers and know the different between the materials which the mothers use them in these days and in the past.

7- The students will learn how we can color the clothes?
The students will do an experiment about how we color the fabrics.
The class will share with science teacher and art teacher.
The art teacher will bring fabrics and colors and let the do the following experiment:-
 3 fabrics for each group.
 3 small pools for each group.
 Cool water and soap, hot water only, hot water and soap.
The steps:-
The teacher will but cool water and soap in one pool and hot water only in the second pool, and hot water and soap in the last pool.

 This activity will assess by the whole group as following:-

Materials to gather:-

Three one meter fabric for each group (Their will be 4 groups).
Meters (for each group), scissors, needle, thread for each student.
Cool and hot water.
Four middle plastic pools for each group in the class.
