The Years' 7-8 spelling list contains over 1000 words, there are too many to list here. You can download the complete list from the above website (free and you don't have to fill out any forms or register, just click on the download section).

These words are classified as VERY COMMON WORDS. Together with the Year 6 spelling list they account for 75% OF ALL ENGLISH USAGE. These two lists represent the essential core of English and are words every high school student should know how to spell.
