Lacing Cards & Dream Catchers

Materials Needed:
Lacing cards with laces
Paper plates
Paper-hole punch
Yarn
Feathers
Picture books about Dream Catchers

Skills: Fine motor, threading
For this center I will demonstrate how to lace the cards going in and out of the holes as opposed to around the edges. For an expanded activity, I would share the picture books about Native American dream catchers. The materials would then be out at the center for the kids to create their own dream catcher.
