Development of Lesson Plans
Introduction
Effective communication and interpersonal skills is necessary for survival in today's business environment. Virtually any career requires this knowledge and those who master it, are successful. The first lesson covers the Fundamentals of Communication and the technology tools available.

The second lesson is a recap of effective communication and a student activity using the webquest above which categorizes each of our communication styles and finds ways to bridge the gap between different communication styles.

The third lesson will use Inspiration software to explore effective communication methods and the different ways in which we communicate.

Methods/Procedures
Handouts will be distributed explaining each lesson, my expectations as well as what is to be mastered upon completion of the unit.

The first lesson covered will include a Power Point presentation and lecture explaining the Fundamentals of Communication and the technology tools available, and a question and answer period.

The second lesson includes group interaction during and after the webquest, using Microsoft Word to write effective business letters, create a SKYPE account to utilize free phone communication, cell phones for proper verbal communication, the proper procedure to use fax machines, and role-play.

The third lesson utilizes the visual abilities Inspiration software provides and again, through the group process, searching the internet for communication technologies and the ways to communicate effectively.

Accommodations/Adaptations
A getting to know you using "true colors" adaptation is used and students will be grouped according to their "true colors". This grouping will maximize the learning process. The buddy system utilizing gifted students is used for any students that are learning disabled. Classroom configuration is ergonomically set up to accommodate students with physical limitations and those that have a sight disorder. Lessons are broken up with activities such as discussions, question and answer, role-play, lecture, computer and digital equipment activities for those students with attention disorders.
