100 Days Rain Sticks

We use paper towel rolls and wrap white construction paper around it. The kids decorate the paper however they like. We then tape cloth or paper to one end and count out 100 beans to fill it with. Put the beans in and tape material or cloth on the open end. You have a rain stick. I believe you could also make it by gluing 2 paper plates together w/ beans in between to make a tambourine.
