Concepts Taught: telling time to the hour

This lesson is a reinforcement lesson to be taught after students have been introduced to the concept of telling time. Give each student a blank clock. Print out a copy of PBS broadcast schedule. I like PBS because it has the digital time as well as a picture of an analog clock next to the name of each show. Give each child a copy of the schedule and blank clock. Ask them to find the time that a particular show comes on. Example: " What time does Clifford come on?" Have them find the time on the schedule and draw hands on their clock to match the time.
