HERE IS A COPY OF MY LESSON PLAN ON LEPRECHAUN SONG:
Look I see a leprechaun, a leprechaunLook I see a leprechaun he's standing very near.
Poof there goes the leprechaun, the leprechaun
Leprechaun's wont stay around, they always disappear!
HERE ARE ACTIVITIES ON LEPRECHAUN'S :Attach several leprechauns cutouts to a tabletop. Put a pot of gold at the opposite end of the table. Also provide enough leprechauns cutouts to extend the patterns to the pot.
HERE ARE ACTIVITIES ON LEPRECHAUN'S :
Set out a large pot of gold, also provide tagboard coin cutouts labled to match the letters on the pot. A youngster places a coin to a matching letter. She continues until she spells each word with coins.
HERE ARE ACTIVITIES ON SHAMROCK'S :Make 2 sets of shamrocks cutouts labeled with matching letters. Arrange one set of shamrocks face up on the floor and stack the other set near you. At the appropriate time during the rhyme, take a shamrock from the stack and hold it in the air, promoting students to say the letter name when a patch is found and all the shamrocks are matched.
HERE ARE ACTIVITIES ON FIND THE LEPRECHAUN'S :Hide around the classroom several leprechauns cutouts . also provide a black plastic pot . a child searches for the leprechauns and places each one she finds in the pot. After she has collected all the leprechauns she does an irish jig! What fun.
