Materials Required: Book: Four Famished Foxes and Fosdyke
Activity Time: 15-20 minutes
Concepts Taught: Alphabet sounds, letter, alliteration, phonemic awareness

1. Read the book "Four Famished Foxes and Fosdyke" by Pamela Duncan Edward, Henry Cole. Draw attention to the alliteration that was used within the book.

2. View the "Animated Alphabet Song" video found in the link. Students will really enjoy copying the actions of the animated characters. After, discuss alliteration used within the video.

Shared Writing
Together as a group have the students generate their own alliterations using names. The teacher would be writing these down on chart paper, modelling the writing process.

Example: Bob the baker bakes biscuits.
