This is an easy time filler that my prep-2 (or K-2 for all you Americans) just LOVE. Have the class stand in the middle of the room and call out the name of an action (we have: dead ants - lying on the floor with feet and hands in the air, scarecrow - standing feet apart arms out, slithery snakes - lying on stomachs wiggling, home base - sitting at on end of the room, headquarters - sitting at the other end)The actions can be taylored to fit your situation/theme and the kids love it. It also looks funny (esp. dead ants!!!!)
