#845. coffee filter flowers

Materials Required: large white coffee filters, pipecleaners,washable markers,spraybottle filled with water
Activity Time: 10 min. per child

Tape a coffee filter to an easel or chalkboard. Have the children color it with the markers. Spray the colored filter with water and watch the colors blend to make a beautiful design. After the filter dries, fold it in half and then fold it one more time ( shaped like a triangle) npw poke a pipecleaner through the bottom (or tape it) for the stem and place the flower in a vase or a toilet paper roll they have decorated!
