The Teachers.Net Website Handbook

Introduction
This manual was written for one purpose - to help teachers like you master web page authoring in as short a time as possible.

If you read it from end to end, and bookmark a few essential links, you will find yourself well equipped to create masterful web pages in no time at all. This manual benefits from my hard-fought battle to master the most basic concepts of web site management, and assembles these in a simple to read book you can download and store on your desktop.

No, the manual is not an exhaustive treatise on HTML, the Httpd server, or the Internet in general. But it is exactly the tools I think you'll need to get a website together and loaded onto your server. And for good measure, it also includes links to the truly authoritative treatises on Net Technology.

So read on, my friend and enjoy the fruit of my toils. If I had this book when I started, I would have saved months of time learning these basic skills. But to this day you still can't find some of these tricks and conventions anywhere on the web. Then, when you get your Teacher Web Page up and running, be sure to send us the URL here at Teachers.Net. We'd love to hear how you're doing!!!
