To be fair they needed SPED teachers so badly they did give me an exemption for two years while I worked on it (although I used the time to test out out of a few classes they wanted and worked on Masters that would make me more marketable for DoDDS :D).

That's what I'm going to have to do. My 15 hours post M.A. are in ABA, so I will have to get a class or two in each category I guess. I am looking into trying to teach part time at one of the universities so maybe I can get reduced (or free) tuition for the classes I need. The same thing happened to me. I had to get 6 credits in order to get the moderate/severe for ES, MS, HS and severe/profound ES, MS, HS. I am certified for everything in my state and have 17 years of experience. DODEA operates differently. It paid off-today I got 3 referral emails! Long and frustrating process.
