Is anyone else struggling with their family (parents) not being supportive of this opportunity? No matter what I say, I can't convince my parents this is a good opportunity for me, even after explaining how my salary nearly doubles with the LQA and raise I would get. I know I'm a grownup who makes her own decisions and hasn't lived with my parents for years, but its so hard to not have support for something like this. Can anyone relate?

Also, possibly because my top choice is Japan. If it were another country... she probably still wouldn't want me to do it but Japan is a NO NO.

She didn't like that I went t...See More
