I just wanted to encourage all the SPED teachers out there looking for jobs, to obtain as many certs as possible. In all the referrals/interview requests I received this last year, only ONE (out of probably 15) was for LIMM. The rest were combinations of different sped certs, or LIMS, or PSCD. I know there are TWO other CONUS hires that are also going to my school, and both of those positions were PreSchool Disabled. Wanderlust I totally understand.. I have a lot of experience in all areas, but qualify in the same three areas as you. It makes me yet again feel as if my degree is worthless, just as I felt when NCLB came into play. We were qualified to teach all 4 core areas in a self contained setting, but once that came about I wasn't qualified to teach LA or Math unless ...See More
