Ok, so does anywhere in the online DODEA application does it talk about the fact that if you take an interview and decline the job...you won't be considered for any other jobs for that school year? I had no idea that was a policy and took an interview stateside when I should have held out for overseas (my mistake). Now because I turned that job down...I won't be considered for this school year unless the need is critical as determined by DODEA. Now there are four jobs overseas and I guess I am going to miss out. I just wish when they asked me to interview they had told me that or it was stated somewhere in the application. Because if I had known I would have never taken the interview. I was just thinking it never hurts to have more interview experience. Has this happened to anyone else? I am so sick that I took the interview. =(

happyteacher If I were a betting person, I'd say if there is a full VI position or VI/LI combo position available overseas, they'd still interview you before the year is up.
