Maybe it's just me, but I find the process of applying for DoDEA positions to be exhausting! I have a 5-12 English and journalism teaching license, an administrator's license, and I am working on my school counselor license. I had one interview and I was offered a position this past summer (at Osan) but turned it down largely because of the quick turn around (I would have had to report in 30 days). The logistics of selling a house, etc simply could not be worked out. I believe that I cannot be a candidate during the 17-18 school year but does anyone know when I will regain eligibility for the 18-19 school year. Also, any recommendations would be appreciated.

I have seen a fair number of counselor positions combined with teaching positions (several of them combined with English).
