From my experience, the vast majority of SPED ISS duties involve oversight of files, paperwork and to some extent programs. They have to answer a lot of question/problem solve a lot regarding Aspen (our online IEP/SPED record system). Instructional Systems Specialist. In this case, for Special Education but they have them for all subjects. Usually one or two per District.
