I know I have seen this information before so I apologize that it is a repeat. I had an interview this past Thursday night. On Friday, my references received emails from the principal and immediately responded. About how long does it normally take to receive a tentative offer (if one is coming)? Thanks!!

SpEd_Eddie It's been a week now and no news. The suspense is killing me. I received the referral a month ago, it took 3 weeks to set up an interview and now just waiting. I just want to know either way. I need to move on.

Icanread I'm right there with you, SpEd_Eddie! The fact that they contacted my references is adding to the nerves and excitement!

SpEd_Eddie I am ok with either way - I just want closure. Checking my email every 5 mins and not being able to sleep or eat is not healthy. I thought I would be ok after the interview - but things are getting worse by the day.

haha You might try shooting off an email off to the principal before the winter break and getting some kind of answer so you don't drive yourself crazy over the holidays.

HelpOthers Make sure your phone number is correct on your application and that you have the phone with you and charged at all times. Accept all calls. Delete the home phone from your application if you have it listed.
