haha Yes, it "generally" means that HR is processing your application in order to make you an offer (and freezes your EAS so that principals do not continue to try to interview you). It's a very good sign but not a guarantee. Be cautiously optimistic.

SPED Teacher You might want to check your application. Usually if this occurs, it means that your application has "expired" and you must go in and reactivate it by verifying the Application. If you try to go in and try to verify the info, then they are processing your file. But i would check it to be sure. Good Luck!!

haha Wow. SPED Teacher you're absolutely right. I had just read posts about people who had just interviewed and even though I read this post somehow I changed "marked inactive" to "frozen for processing" in my brain and then typed out a quick response based on that.

intrepidtravelr To make sure, log into your account and click on Apply for a Teaching Position. This is what mine said when they were processing my application for an offer: "The DoDEA staff is currently processing your application. You will be unable to make changes at this time."
