If anyone needs classes to help get qualified in certain endorsement areas, I came across this program through the University of La Verne. I find them to be extremely well priced for an accredited graduate level course. $345.00 for a 3 credit class. They are also extremely flexible, the courses are self-paced. They have a variety of different education class. http://www.pdcourses.net/courses-pdc.php

happyteacher That's interesting... I actually took Childhood Behavior Disorders through LaVerne and I didn't find any of the course content to relate to Severe Disabilities - it was all EI/behavior. They must have changed it.

Jay SpedTeacher74, they told me that I had 6 credits that they would take for Sp.Ed, so I need another 9 credits to qualify. Besides the 2 that you mentioned are there any others you suggest to get a total of 15?

Wanderlust So, ckkarst, how many semester hours were you needing to fulfill the moderate/severe? I have been told that I need 12 sh. If I'm correct, I'm needing 4 classes if fulfilling this requirement. Or will the two Laverne courses you've suggested take care of this? I'm trying to figure out what will be the most beneficial for me. Thank you!

SpedTeacher74 You might try Psychology of Exceptional Children. That's the only other one I see that might work. I'd copy the syllabi and send it to your HR contact to verify.

Wanderlust I've contacted the same person you have per email, Ms. Coppedge and have gotten and no response. What do you suggest?
