I had an interview on June 8th. This past Wed (Jun 13), I got an email stating my account was listed as inactive. I haven't heard anything else; I know it's only been a few days but should I call HR to see if they need anything from me? During the interview, I was told that if I didn't hear something from the home office that week (the one that just ended), then I didn't get the position. So, I wasn't sure if my account status change was a good sign? Thanks!

joseybear When I got an email that my account was inactivated, I called HR. I told them I had just interviewed, they said it was because I had been selected but they just had to put together the tentative offer. I was told it takes about 10 days...one person said it takes as long as it takes.

WAteacher Any updates Amy? My application was inactive a few days after yours.

Amy @WAteacher: I got my tentative offer on Thursday (6/28). It was after many calls and unreturned voicemails that I finally spoke to someone who got everything together, I guess.

Although, I'm confused because the salary listed in my offer doesn't match the number listed on the salary schedule for at least the academic year that just ended....See More

Frank I figure the correct salary will be worked out on the final offer. My tentative offer was way low, no credit for education or experience and it wasn't even from the correct professional pay scale. I haven't received my firm offer yet, but my hr rep told me it would be corrected.
