I have an interview tomorrow with a school in Europe. Any interview tips or suggestions are welcome. I'm also really, really overwhelmed at the thought of even being considered for this position let alone moving from Midwestern US to Europe with my kids and husband (also a teacher but hasn't been contacted by dodea but is active in EAS). Any advice is welcome. TIA!

HelpOthers I agree with haha. The location is nice for site-seeing.

Usually when working with the international population, parents are from higher socioeconomic status and are older than the military parents. Students are also used to the international experience and may speak more than two languages...

Snoochiesboochies I had a really great interview. I feel positive about it. They are checking my references now and said if I'm chosen for the position I will receive an email from HR about how to proceed. Fingers crossed!

H Yay! Did they tell you they were checking references or did one of your references let you know? And it sounds like they are checking them after the interview instead of before. Hopefully that's a good sign.

Snoochiesboochies I currently work in public high school with high administrative turnover so I plugged in some names and numbers just to get my EAS moving along back in the fall.
