Does anyone know how a negative interview affects future interviews? I had an interview- the person interviewing me was someone I had worked with (as equals) before and was SUPER awkward- there were personal questions mixed in with the standard ones and I was also nervous as heck (first job interview in over a decade, really regret leaving DoDDS and it was for a GREAT location). I didn't get the position and a DoDDS friend told me that principals get to rate and make hiring remarks after an interview to help other principals decide who to interview. I had no idea- does this mean I am "blacklisted"? I have been on a few referral lists since then with no interviews... thoughts?
haha I can't confirm or deny what principals are able to note on your file after an interview or what future principals can see.

I do know quite a few people that have had multiple interviews (many of whom describe some really bad/awkward interviews) that were eventually hired with DoDEA.

HelpOthers Most interviews have a set number of questions that need to be scored, so there shouldn't be any personal questions asked next time. Hopefully you will have another opportunity soon.
