Hi everyone! Things keep rolling right along! I just submitted my eQUIP, and the last thing I feel like I have the ability to take care of at this point would be fingerprints. The thing is, while I see them mentioned here and there, there's nothing officially stating "Go get them done, use this form, submit them in this manner." I emailed my HR contact, and asked if getting them done at Tinker AFB (ten minutes away) would be beneficial, and she said she was unsure. She directed me to the "security office" contact mentioned in one of the emails I received, and suggested I contact them. I did so, and have not received a response. Any input? Did I miss this information somewhere? I can't stand having loose ends!

WA_Counselor Ms. Reed is handling my security, as well. I was sent an email from her using the PAPERSEC@hq.dodea.edu email address with no other personal email address indicated, and so that's the email address I've used to respond to her initial email, but I haven't heard anything back from her. Does anyone have a better email address for her?

Happy Teacher I phoned her and left a message. She phoned back very quickly and helped me step by step.

I have SEVEN different out of office messages from her for different dates each time. I will say that she tends to answer the messages even when she is "out" Alternately I think PSIP can help with fingerprints... they are t...See More

WA_Counselor After pinging my HR rep, she put Ms. Reed in touch with me and I was able to get my prints done electronically at the nearby VA while I was on leave on Friday. The fingerprint technician seemed to think that one of the codes provided to me by Ms. Reed was one digit short, so I'm hoping that he's mistaken and things will continue to move forward.

WA_Counselor I found out on Monday afternoon, after phoning Ms. Reed, the Security Specialist, that my electronic fingerprints were accepted. It took my call to get her to attend to them and send them out to the various states where I have lived, so I definitely agree with others on this board who are endorsing regular phone calls to your HR reps. Ms. Reed told...See More
