I was wondering if anyone knew about the hiring process for the Professional Practice and Improvement Specialist positions? This closed Sept. 17th, and my status still stated received. I emailed the department last week, but no response.

Also, I was wondering if teacher positions are filled year around, or are they pretty much done for the year. I am Secondary Science certified.

Thanks in advance for your insight!

Icanread Yes, teacher positions are filled year round! I actually received the referral for my job about this time last year. It just depends if a teacher is PCSing (moving) or possibly even retiring. Keep your application active and up-to-date because you never know!

Ron.e I called yesterday about the PPIS position. They said that they were processing other positions first. They should be processing the applications for PPIS in the next 2-3 weeks.

Hopeful Thanks for the update, Ron.e! Knowing approximately when we can expect to hear something makes the waiting a little easier.
