Thank you Haha. I received another email later today that I was referred for the PD position for Okinawa. Now, I wait for the email for an interview?

Basically, yes. Some people do try and get more proactive by emailing the relevant principal/hiring authority and introducing themselves, expressing enthusiasm for the opportunity to interview, etc. but that's a personal choice.
