I recently applied for a job as assistant principal. I requested my score from head quarters, and they responded with my score. Does anyone have any idea how to tell if my score is good?

I was expecting my score to be out of 100, but they said my score was out of 70?
someday If it is out of 70 and your score is 70 or higher it is a good score. You do have to remember that it is being compared to others who also applied in that same announcement. If you knew there scores also you would know how you rank.

haha If it was out of 70 and their score was higher than 70, that would be amazing! LOL.

I don't recall really hearing/reading about specific scores and what constitutes a good/great score. I meant to ask an admin about it today but several other things took precedent (that kind of day/week :D :S )

Wishful Thinking Depending on vacancy location there will be an acceptable range of highest to lowest applicant scores. Your score must fall within that range to be referred. If you were referred on this last posting, you have a competing score.

someday HaHa I am assuming that they got full points on application and to get above that they would have veterans points. Don't they still do that, add 5 or 10 points for veterans?

haha That would make more sense, but I don't claim any special knowledge about the leadership recruitment process, how they apply veteran points or the point system in general.
