Hello! I just applied to teach with the DoD. I am a High School Science teacher with 7 years of experience in the state of Texas. Is the DoD like the rest of the world and has a high demand for Science and math teachers, or is it different? I put down basically every location.

How long does it take the application to go from Pending, to Qualified?

I am super excited, but know it can be a long shot! Any words of advice are appreciated!
haha Hi. Math and Science are also good areas to have with DoDEA. It is all relative though as there are generally a fairly large number of qualified applicants for any particular opening. Woodsie Hello! With a degree and experience in Math/Science, you can also look at International schools. If you really want to travel, this is a great way to do it. These cost money to join, but you can finds jobs on https://www.tieonline.com and you can see school reviews at https://www.internationalschoolsreview.com. Good luck anywhere you apply!
