The principle I interviewed with didn't even ask about my references and has not contacted them. I thought the interview went well but it's been 2 weeks and I haven't heard anything. :(

Same situation as QuestionsAllDay, I did not get the job.
Also had one school contact my references before asking me to interview (which is strange) but I turned down the interview, so my references wasted their time.

Last year, I had what I thought was a pretty solid interview. I was not selected, the principal did not check my references nor did the subject come up during the interview.
