Hi. I was just wondering if those of you who are currently teaching for a DODEA school could give us an idea about your typical workday. For example, how many classes do you teach? Approximately how many students are in your classes? Is your school on a block schedule or more periods? Do you have much time to prep/grade during the school day? How much time do you find yourself spending working on "school" work at home?

haha Generally, they are separate. A complex (depending on the size) could have 3+ SLP's that split duties between schools and at least one Assessor for the whole complex. Numbers could go up or down based on number/size of schools.

Sometimes people end up sharing SLP or Assessor duties due to extended leave, positions waiting to be filled etc....See More

questionsallday @SLPnyc we will be 2 SLPs at my school. They told me my caseload will be around 30-35. I can pretty much do whatever model I want. I haven't started yet, but I can keep you updated later.
