Hello all, I was notified by security that I have been approved for line of sight supervision clearance. My HR rep let me know that she received that notification as well and told me she would be in touch. What is the next step in process? I assumed that would trigger them sending me my final offer and putting in a request for orders but so far nothing. Anyone have any idea how much longer I might be waiting for final offer/orders? I am assuming the report date comes with the orders?

I know that I really appreciated reading other candidates timeline so I am going to add mine below.

Wishful Thinking @Shecooks and other newly hired. Lindsey posted a timeline in January about in-processing. Notice 12/30 with fingerprints and finding a place to get them done.

Wishful Thinking Personnel Security Investigation Portal that you should receive with your Background Investigation Information. Just be on the lookout for it and ask your HR rep for help if it is taking too long. You will need the official form, so don't try to get it too quickly. Post Office does them at cost and military installations for free.

Lindsey You don't necessarily need their form but you do need the codes. You can get them rolled anywhere you want if you have the right codes for the form. My suggestion would be to get them done on a military base or at the VA as they can send them over electronically.
