I interviewed a week ago and my references were contacted. So far.....crickets.....

It was exactly a week after my references were contacted before my tentative offer arrived. I've herd of tentative offers taking even longer, it can be a waiting game.

In the past, it seems that some have been notified and others haven't been. I had an interview 4 weeks ago and they contacted my principal for a reference. I haven't heard anything yet.

Not always. I didn't receive an offer until 5 weeks later. You can try contacting CHRA and see if the position has been filled.

I was not notified that I was not selected. I live in a small overseas community. I was a local applicant and found out through a colleague that someone else was selected.
