Our entire district is expected to fall into PI next year. Many of us are trying to figure out exactly what that means for us. We are in California. Does anyone know where we could learn more about what might be coming?

Colleen Oh, and since so many districts will be PI, there is NO WAY they will have enough people to come around and "fix" all of us!!!

firstie/ca All this as actually helped us. WestEd has come in and helped us focus more on our essential standards. We are now doing CFA's - Common Formative Assesments. Each grade level got together before school started and mapped out when they would teach each essential standard (we have benchmark tests every trimester). Terri F. This is absolutely criminal! Our school worked our butts off to get off improvement status and we did it. It took lots of dedication and extra hours. But we did it.
