I just bought a MacBook Pro running OS10.5.8. What is the best virus protection software that I should get? Thanks.
Neal Some claim there are no Mac virus's... that's not completely true, but there's more likely to be a serious virus or phishing hole on the horizon since Mac's have been completely software based, like WinDUHows for years. Ron To be honest, I would save your money. Use common sense when working with files on the outside and you should be ok. I have a MBP and have not had anything even remotely resembling a virus or Trojan try to attack. On my Vista box I use Windows Live One Care, and it is always kicking in to do its thing.
