Database help needed!

How are folks accessing databases now that Appleworks is out? We have several database files that we need to convert, but don't know how to do that with iWork. Any suggestions?

I don't believe iWork has a database application. I would start with NeoOffice (it's free) and see if it can open AW dat...See More

Neal (M) The DB will then be saved as "tab delimited text" which can be read/converted by Excel or any other DB app..

MyAppleWorks runs under 10.5.8 but I have to double-click the file not launch AW and use open

So if you change all your files on an old box or older OS you can then use all the data without re-typing.
