I am clueless here but have over 100 books read on cassettes and want to convert them to cds. Is there an easy way to do it without having to buy a cassette converter machine?

Is there a website for dummies on how to do this with a Mac OS X using 10.5.8????

I don't want to have to read each one of these into a mic and then burn a cd when the cassette is right here.

Thanks for any input in advance.
Neal (M) You connect the line out of the cassette deck to the line in of the Mac. You need some sort of audio recording application. ROXIOS Toast™ has CD Spin Doctor you can use something like Audacity, Audio Recorder, AudioRefurb 3 but that's less intuitive, so it requires more work.

You might convert the tapes to mp3 files, then decide to load...See More

~Cher~ Thanks Neal, I didn't want to have to use my voice to do it. Maybe I will look on line for the cd's of the stories except I have so many books on tape it would be mindboggling
