Katty In my many years of teaching, I always taught in an elementary school where the administration tried to balance the number of students in a classroom. If there were 100 students, five first grade teachers had 20 students. When new students were enrolled, they were given first to one teacher, then another. sci-saxet We are in a middle school so it depends what the students elect to take such as band or choir or athletics. So if you have more in band one year, certain periods will fill up faster with new students enrolling.
