I'm currently in high school in Italy and I think next year I will take English classes, math classes and physics classes in the US. so the year after I would be ready to enroll in petroleum engineering. But I'm not sure I can do it. I have great grades except math and physics(B) but this is because of my teacher. He is particular. but what I want to say is that I'm not smart, brilliant. I just study hard. I was wondering if I can succeed in this major. I think math and physic classes shouldn't be that difficult also because it's not a math or physic major! my first choice for 5 years in high school was architecture then I changed into construction manager then again into civil engineering and now I'm in love with petroleum engineering.
Hi Dea, I hope that all is going well with your studies! Hard work and dedication do pay off in time. There are concepts from my high school math classes that I am just now beginning to understand and fully grasp, so it's ok that you aren't perfect with math and physics.
